As Mr TOK ‘N’ Do continues with his progressive mission in bringing leadership, care and trust to his subjects, from the hierarchy to the list supporters of APC are bowing their heads in abject mistrust, shame and embarrassment for lying to the people of Sierra Leone.
The arrival of a brand new Ferry over the weekend has been received with mixed feelings from those who think it is impossible to bring tangible development to the Northerners or residents of Lungi and beyond, which the APC has failed to do during their reign. The arrival of the ferry is to help salvage the sea transportation issue for Sierra Leoneans who are plying Lungi for various purposes.
The 350-seater fully Air conditioned ferry with a capacity for over 100 vehicles, coupled with plasma TVs is a display of hard work and massive development under the leadership of the indefatigable president. This is a show of many more developments that will be delivered under the nose of the APC stronghold, and as the people of Lungi continue to show cognizance his strives in making life easier for all 2023 will be a slap to the All People’s Congress.
With the archaic ferries at hand, the APC under the leadership of Ernest Bai Koroma thought it fits to bring in a replacement but Hold and Behold it was all fake. After wasting the taxpayer’s money they presented scrap metals as a ferry to the people of this country, and that resulted in the sacking of the then Director General of NASSIT Edmond Koroma and his deputy Gibril Saccoh in 2011. Their Scrap metals (Ferry) never served its purpose after spending over 2 billion Leones of taxpayers’ money with nothing to show for it, now that reality is before them they are jealous of such progress, which not just the SLPP supporters will use but all Sierra Leoneans.
Sierra Leoneans have longed to be in the dark where politicians will use, misused, dump them and get think they can get away with their actions. Those days are long gone and President Bio has been an eye opener by showing his masses what true and honest leadership is all about.
Under his watch, the masses are beginning to understand what really he meant in our lingual Franca “Paoapa Salone for Bete”, which means when translated PERSEVERANCE. It is only with perseverance spirit will Sierra Leone gets to the apex of development, if we Sierra Leoneans display such zest as Mr. TOK N DO.
