National Revenue Authority and Sierra Leone’s United Nations Mission Strengthen Tax Cooperation

In a significant move to strengthen tax cooperation, National Revenue Authority (NRA) Commissioner General Madam Jeneba J. Bangura met with Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, H.E. Lansana Gberie, on the sidelines of the 31st Session of the UN Committee of Experts on International Cooperation in Tax Matters.

The meeting, held at the Palais des Nations, aimed to enhance collaboration between the NRA and the Sierra Leonean government in taxation and revenue mobilization. This initiative is crucial for Sierra Leone’s efforts to improve tax administration and increase domestic revenue collection.

Discussions between Commissioner General Bangura and Ambassador Gberie underscore Sierra Leone’s commitment to fostering international cooperation in tax matters.
