Harry Kallon, 39, an IT professional and engineer, and his 26-year-old brother, Foday Kallon, appeared before Magistrate John Manso Fornah at Pademba Road Court No. 2 in Freetown on three counts: wounding with intent, wounding, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, contrary to Section 47 of the Offences Against the Person Act, 1861.
According to the particulars of the offence, on Saturday, 3 January 2026, at Walker Lane off Berwick Street, Western Area, Freetown, the defendants allegedly wounded Mohamed Kamara with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Counts two and three stated that on the same date and at the same location, the defendants maliciously wounded and assaulted Mohamed Kamara, thereby causing him actual bodily harm.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Sorie Conteh led two prosecution witnesses in presenting the case.
Defence counsel S.A. Conteh requested a short adjournment to cross-examine the witnesses.
Magistrate Fornah refused bail, citing the seriousness of the charges. The matter was adjourned to 19 January 2026.
