Mount Zion World Outreach Praise Ministry has the 26th September, 2021 donated food items to the Poor in Bo.
Presenting the items to the poor at the Church Headquarter, the General Overseer of Mount Zion World Outreach Praise Ministry, Rev James Jessie English thanked God for the provision to help those in dire need which according to him is a fulfillment of scriptures.
He also thanked members of the Church for allowing God to use them to feed the poor and encourage them to continue supporting them as they will be bless in abundance.
He said giving to the needy is what God desires from Christians and as a church they will continue to trust God for provision to help the needy.
According to him, he has opened a school at church compound to help the needy child to achieve quality education.
Speaking to A-Z Newspaper, one of the beneficiaries of the donation, Theophilus Kabbah thanked Rev English for taking such bold steps in this time of difficulties.
“We are grateful for providing rice and the condiments to have something on the table. God will bless you and your church members,” he said, adding that “we will be coming to the church to hear the word of God and what he had done is a strategy for soul winning which is what God wants.”
He said a lot of them are on the street begging refusing to attend church services, but consider this time to be good and to get closer to God.
Another beneficiary, Tommy Sesay said that” I was thinking about where to get food to eat when I was called to come and get food,” noting that he is grateful to God and the people of Mount Zion Church.”
