Motorbike rider granted Le20m bail

32yrs old Mohamed Janneh alias ‘Bibllion fire’ a motorbike rider made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Brima Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the particulars of offence on Monday 16th January 2023 at No.15 upper Tengbeh Town the western area in Freetown did steal from vehicle with registration AUS 959 stole therein one black pack bag containing physical sum of ten thousand one hundred and thirty three Leones(10,133,00) one IPhone twelve mobile phone valued ninety thousand Leones(19,000,00) one boss perfume value fifty Leones (50,00) bunches of keys and documents all the total value of twenty nine thousand one hundred and eighty three Leones (29,183,00) properties of Mambu Abu.

The charges was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty.

Counsel representing the accused person A.D Achatoh Esq renewed his previous Bail applications on behalf of the accused person.

Meanwhile, Magistrate Gogra granted the accused person bail in the sum of ten million Leones with two sureties in like sum sureties to be resident in the western area.

 Sureties to produce valid identity cards depicting addresses in Freetown and bail to be approved by the Bench.

The Matter was adjourned to the 7th February 2023 for further hearing, while Assistant Superintendent of police Abdul Sannoh is prosecuting the matter.
