Twenty-one years old Luckman Koroma student at Njala University Mokonday Campus made his first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on a count of motor Manslaughter contrary to law.
According to the particulars of offence on Sunday 21st July 2024 at 11:00 hours along Cole Farm junction the western area in Freetown being the driver in control of vehicle registration number ARD 999 FJ cruiser did unlawfully kill Mohamed Kawa.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused person no plea was taken.
The prosecutor Inspector Sellu TAP sought for a short adjournment date for him to get proper conference with his witness.
Meanwhile, Magistrate Kekura refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional facility in Freetown matter adjourned to the 2nd September 2024.
