The Ministry of Gender and Children’s Affairs (MoGCA) has conducted nationwide training for partners across all 16 districts on the use of an e-referral pathway online portal aimed at improving services for survivors of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV).

The training, held across the country’s four regions, focused on equipping service providers with the skills needed to effectively use the platform. The system is designed to streamline, coordinate, and track support services delivered to survivors.

According to the Ministry, the e-referral system enables real-time tracking of services provided by partners in each district, thereby improving coordination, accountability, and access to up-to-date information. Officials noted that the initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the national response to SGBV and ensure that survivors receive timely and efficient support.

Participants were given practical guidance on the system’s functionality, including how to input and manage service data within the portal.

MoGCA and its partners reaffirmed their commitment to improving referral pathways, enhancing data management, and sustaining quality service delivery for survivors across the country.
