The Mogbwemo Queens Football Club has launched new kits for the remaining matches in the Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League after commencing the second round with a 1-0 win over Ram K Football Club in the Southern derby, while they recorded a 1-1 draw with Patricia Umu FC over the weekend at the Kambia field.
Emmanuel Tondoneh the Chief Executive Officer of Mogbwemo Queens FC stated that the new kits comprising two sets each for both the home and away matches as well as travel kits all were purchased from Turkey in Europe.
He added that the next set of the supporters’ jerseys will be available in the next two weeks
“The first set of supporters’ jerseys are all sold out for now but the next set will be available in two weeks” CEO Tondoneh affirmed.
Mogbwemo Queens FC is the only team with an unbeaten streak in the ongoing 2022/23 Women’s Premier League and currently sits in the second position with 33 points, while the Club’s next match is scheduled for tomorrow at Angola town field against FC Kallon Female.
Female Football has gained some recognition now with the inspection of the Female Football that has been declining in the Country for the past two decades.
