The Champions of the recently concluded Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League Maiden Edition 2022/2023 season, Mogbewemo Queens have embarked on intensive training officially at the Kono artificial turf ahead of CAF female Champions League preliminaries in Liberia.
Before the commencement of the training, the Champions had a trophy parade in Rutile Community from Mata to Moriba town and ended at Mogbewemo town.
The Head Coach and his technical staff thought it fit for the Champions to have a month of intensive and hard training ahead of any opponent they might face in the preliminaries.
The management as well provided all the necessary training items in ensuring that, the technical staff and players are well pleased.
The training started officially on the 6th (Tuesday) June 2023 and it will last for a month before departing to Liberia.
The management is calling on all stakeholders in the game, Club owners, football administrators, fans, and football enthusiasts to rally around the team and give out support in whatever way they can, as it is a fight not Mogbewemo Queens alone, but the nation at large.
The Club is on standard recruitment from everywhere in the world to qualify for the group stage and vehemently compete for their first CAF Female Champions League.
