The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs (MTCA) has officially unveiled the logo for the highly anticipated One Nation Reggae Festival, scheduled to take place from November 25th to 30th, 2025.

The logo unveiling ceremony marks a significant milestone in the preparations for this landmark cultural event, which is themed “Shared Roots, Shared Rhythm, One Love, One Vibe.”

In her statement, Permanent Secretary Madam Judith C. Jones described the One Nation Reggae Festival as a beacon of unity, cultural identity, and national pride. She emphasized that the festival offers an excellent platform to showcase Sierra Leone’s rich cultural heritage to a global audience, while also promoting the country as a peaceful and attractive tourism destination.

The uniqueness of the event was highlighted by Mohamed Jalloh, Director of Tourism and Exchange Programs, and Foday Jalloh, Director of Culture, Creativity, and Innovation. Both underscored the festival’s role in promoting Sierra Leone’s cultural identity while strengthening bonds with African nations through shared musical roots and rhythms.

Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Nabeela Farida Tunis, stated that the logo unveiling symbolizes much more than just a visual introduction. “It stands as a symbol of unity, identity, and shared heritage between Africa and the Caribbean,” she said. The festival, she emphasized, is not only about entertainment but also serves as a cultural movement that celebrates Sierra Leonean talent in music, dance, art, and cuisine.

The logo itself reflects the vibrant and resilient spirit of Africa, positioning Sierra Leone as a hub for global cultural exchange, connection, and investment. The One Nation Reggae Festival is expected to strengthen international cultural ties and promote Sierra Leone’s cultural diplomacy.

With the logo now revealed, the countdown to this landmark event has officially begun, promising to showcase Sierra Leone’s rich cultural heritage to the world.
