In a recent joint conference held among various communities within the Waterloo division, the Serving Local Unit Commander (LUC) publicly praised the Mercy Ship community for being one of the most cooperative and law-abiding neighborhoods in the area. The LUC’s comments come in response to false and baseless allegations made by a propaganda network known as “The Electric Network.”

Sergeant Abdul Mansaray, a resident of the community, expressed his dissatisfaction with the unfounded claims. He emphasized that there has been no such meeting or any plans to cause unrest within the community. Instead of speculating, he stated, the network should have done its work properly and provided evidence, rather than spreading false and misleading information.

“This is a deliberate act of sabotage and witch-hunting by the network. It is painful and disappointing that some individuals are spreading such lies and getting away with it without facing the law,” said Sergeant Mansaray.

Mr. Adikali Koroma, a local resident, also weighed in, pointing out that spreading such unverifiable information online could be considered treasonous under cyber law.

Residents of the Mercy Ship community are urging the public to disregard these accusations, labeling them as false and invalid. They continue to assure the security sector and the wider public of their ongoing safety and cooperation, emphasizing that no such activity is taking place within the community.
