32yrs old Henry Smart a Masoner made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Monday 19th September 2022 at Saint Michael off Main Peninsula Road the western area in Freetown did steal two sets baluster Pillar each valued the sum of three thousand five hundred Leones(3,500) to the total sum of seven thousand Leones(7000) Property of Jariatu Timbo Barrie.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded guilty.
The prosecutor informed the Bench that fact as charge there’s no available records.
The accused person was unrepresented and he pleaded for the court to temper justice with mercy.
However, Magistrate Gogra due to the plea mitigation by the accused person and he is a first time offender, he sentenced the accused person to eight Months imprisonment to the male correctional center in Freetown.
