Twenty-three-year-old mason, Nelson Koroma, made his first appearance before Magistrate Mary Julian Gbloh at Pademba Road Court No. 5, facing a charge of larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of the offence, on Thursday, 15th January 2026, at 295A Regent Kamayama, Lumley, Western Area, Freetown, Koroma stole five lengths of angle iron rods valued at five thousand Leones, belonging to Godson Bundu.
When the charge was read and explained to him, the defendant pleaded guilty.
The prosecutor, Sergeant 9906 Umu Jalloh, submitted Koroma’s voluntary caution and charged statement as evidence.
Magistrate Gbloh adjourned the matter to 26th January 2026 for recording and sentencing.
