Abdul Dumbuya made another appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Larceny at a dwelling house contrary to Section 13 (a) of the Larceny Act of 1916 and Fraudulent conversion contrary to section 20 (1) (iv)(a) of the Larceny Act of 1916
According to the particulars of offence on Monday 10th January 2022 at Hamburger Hills Kaningo Lumley the western area in Freetown entered into the dwelling house of Musa Kunta Marrah with intent to steal and break therein different types of zinc valued at one million three hundred and thirty thousand Leones (1,330,000) property of Musa Kunta Marrah.
On count two at the same place and date he fraudulently converted to his own use or benefit certain property that is to say two bags of cement valued at two hundred and six thousand Leones entrusted to him by the said complainant for the purpose of safekeeping
The accused person was unrepresented.
However, Magistrate Gogra granted the accused person bail in the sum of ten million Leones with one surety in like sum.
Surety to produce a valid identity card depicting his/her addresses in Freetown, bail to be approved by the Deputy Acting Registrar.
The matter is adjourned to the 24th March 2022.
