Magistrate Abdul Rashid Jalloh of Pademba Road Court No. 4 in Freetown, on Tuesday 11th January 2022, admonished his Officers (Prosecutors) in an open Court that they should always execute bench warrant whenever an accuse failed to come to Court or jump bail.

He also said, compromise has been made in certain cases which they normally settle outside without the knowledge of the court.

Magistrate Jalloh furthered that the Prosecutors must ensure that they bring witnesses to speed up matters.

He also admonished his Registrar to prepare Committal within 48 hours for High Court to receive it.

Also on the area of signing bench warrant, the Magistrate admonished the Correctional Officers to always watch for signature of Magistrate or the Deputy Assistant Registrar before taken accused to custody, but if not they should not receive any warrant without signature of any Magistrate or the Registrar. He ended up saying that they should work collaboratively in ensuring the smooth running in dispensing Justice for all.
