Lunsar Cycling Club, Village Bicycle Project and Hello Sierra Leone is set to hold a week long training for Cyclists. This is in preparation for the Tour de Lunsar slated for 16th to 18tht April 2021.
According to Germin Bensu the Expert from Holland, his impression is very positive as the training course is designed for beginners who will gain knowledge on how to fix a bike and do proper maintenance.
The course is based on an International Cycling Union standard that is targeting beginners to have the requisites knowledge to match up with international standard. The expert was sent to the country by an International body to provide technical support to Sierra Leonean riders.
He affirmed that at the end of the training course all the participants would be able to fix bikes as the training is centered around that critical area of the sporting discipline.
He assured that with the de Tour to Lunsar a lot of the riders back home will benefits a lot because the riders will have to interact with International riders that have acquired wealth of experience.
He is therefore calling on the parents body of the Sierra Leone Cycling Association to come onboard and help them actualise a successful Tour de Lunsar Cycling contest.
