LUC Augustine Kabia Furnishes Bonthe Island Police Station

The courageous, dedicated and firm Local Unit Commander for Bonthe Divisional Headquarters CSP. Augustine Kabia has been lauded by well-meaning citizens in the Township of Mattru Jong and beyond due to his meritorious leadership record in policing the entire Division.

As a hardworking and brave Local Unit Commander among others, the people have described CSP. Augustine Kabia as one of the best LUC`s among others in the Sierra Leone Police.

Through this record, he has responded to the order given to him by the Inspector General Police Mr. William Fayia Sellu through a telephone call that by the first week in April personnel attached to Bonthe Island should occupy the newly constructed Police Building.

After several deliberations, the following furniture meant for Bonthe Island Police Station were delivered by the LUC Bonthe for the purpose of Office utilities.

⭐ Twenty nine Chairs (29)

⭐Six (6) Benches

⭐ Five (5) Office Tables

⭐ Two (2) Conference tables

⭐ Two (2) Stools

⭐ Two (2) Flag pools including four (4) buckets of emotion (Bamboo) paint and eight (8) gallons of royal blue paints to help speed up the Project.

Yes, it’s clear that he has decent leadership record and he has received many praises from members of the public based on the maintenance of law and order, maintaining peace and tranquility and also ensuring that lives and properties are well protected at any given moment in the Division.

CSP. Augustine Kabia through the support of commanders across the Division including the Divisional O/C OSD DSP Bernette S. Kamara and Crime Officer D/Inspector Thomas Lavalie and have as well through the support of other personnel have appointed Sub – Inspector Abas Kamara Deputize by Sgt Ibrahim Kamara and Sgt 9233 Augusta Kargbo as O/C Women tentatively.

Meanwhile, the painting of the said Police Building is ongoing at the time of this report.

He has ensured the vigorous enforcement of law and order in the entire Division in addition to episodically interacting with the community members and other stakeholders to throw support to the police in the dispensation of their lawful duties.  During an on the sport interview with members of the public to sound their opinions about the new Police Station in the Island, One Alhaji Harding Bockarie of Bonthe Island said that it was very much difficult for him to stay at Island due to lack of Police surficiency which to him was a threat. He confirmed that if anyone is to be happy he should be number one as he now feel secured with a standard Police so that the fight against crime and lawlessness
