Sierra Leone Premier League side, Luawa Football club has on 28th July 2023 confirmed the signing of British born Sebastian Bowles as the club’s new head coach.

Bowles terms of contract are unknown but I’m informed he has signed with the country’s top-flight club Luawa Football Club for an undisclosed fee.

Sebastian Bowles 44 holds a UEFA B license with the Scottish FA.

Bowles has previously coached FC Haka in Finland, winning the championship undefeated with FC Haka U17’s Second Division side.

Bowles promoted FC HAKA U17’s to First Division, FC Haka U20 to First Division, and FC Haka

U20’s to the Finnish Premier League.

Bowles has been without a club since his contract expired as Manager with Swedish Second Division side Ytterhogdals IK in 2022.

Sebastian Bowles is well known as an attack oriented coach with fluent ball possession which makes his teams very entertaining to watch and extremely hard to play against.

Highly motivating coach who uses modern methods that combine periodization with football specified fitness regime. Bowles has dynamic leadership with effective communication to create efficient coaching sessions. Always looking to improve in every aspect and demands only the best constantly from himself, his staff and players.

Sebastian Bowles football philosophy is ‘creating a winning culture starts with hating to lose.’

A quick reminder that the last foreign coach to have been signed by a Premiership club in Sierra Leone relegated FC Johansen for the first time after 11 years in the country’s top-flight league.
