Sierra Leone Senior National Team home-based squad has started intensive training ahead of their doubleheader against Sao Tome Principe.
The head Coach John Keister commences intensive work with a group of home-based players marking the start of technical preparation ahead of Sierra Leone’s home-and-away encounter against São Tomé and Principe in the TotalEnergies AFCON 2023 Qualifiers next month.
The Leone Stars of Sierra Leone need to win both legs or at least grab (4) points to stand on a good Footing for qualifying with two matches remaining in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Leone Stars Technical team has called up forty Home based from 18 Premier League clubs to start preparations including Musa Noah Kamara who has been out from the squad the past three Friendlies matches where Sierra Leone lost all three of those matches, with him the squad now will give a boost to the Technical team in their striking manpower.
The Technical team hopes to cut down the squad to get their final squad of players within two weeks before the team departs for the qualifiers in Morocco.
