Abraham Mansaray has on the 21st October, 2021 made another appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on the 21st October 2021 on three court charges ranging from Fraudulently conversion contrary to section 20 (1) (iv) (a) of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the particulars of offence on a date between Saturday 1st July 2017 and Tuesday 30th June 2020 in Freetown Fraudulently converted to your own use and benefit certain property that is to say the sum of forty three million Leones for eight tons rods (43,000,000), forty two million one hundred and twenty thousand Leones for eight hundred and ten bags of cement and twenty four million five hundred thousand Leones for the purpose of delivering into his bank account at Guarantee trust Bank (GTB) entrusted to him by Mustapha Alfred Jalloh.

The defence counsel representing the accused person K. Williams and W. Garba applied for bail on behalf of the accused person that he is a Sierra Leonean and he is not a flight risk, he will not interfere with potential witness, he will not jump bail and he has reliable sureties who are ready to enter into recognizance on his behalf he made his application pursuant to section 79 (2) and (3) of the Criminal procedure Act No.32 of 1965.

Magistrate Keikura granted the accused person bail in the sum of five hundred million Leones or two sureties in like sum both sureties must be gainfully employed from a recognized institution the sureties should produce their employment letters; both sureties must be elderly and responsible citizens they should be resident in the urban area bail to be approved by the Deputy Acting Registrar.

Inspector I.G Fofanah prosecuting the matter, and has been adjourned to the 4th November 2021.
