27yrs old Peter Abu Lahai made another appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny by servant contrary to section 17 (1) (a) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Sunday 13th March 2022 at No.77 Peninsular Road Adonkia Goderich international earthmoving and constructions company compound in the western area in Freetown being a security guard employed by the international earthmoving and constructions company stole one TVS motor bike with regards number ARJ 582 valued seventeen million Leones (17,000,000) belonging to the said company.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person and pleaded not guilty.
However, Magistrate Sahr Kekura granted the accused person bail in the sum of one hundred million Leones or one surety in like sum the surety must be resident in the western area the surety must be gainfully employed from a recognized institution and should produce his employment letter and identity card of the said institution bail to be approved by the Deputy Acting Registrar.
Matter adjourned to the 25th May 2022 for further hearing, while Police Constable 15152 Turay H.B prosecuting the matter.
