Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Ross Road Court No.1 has remanded Alusine Kamara at the Male Correctional Centre on Pademba Road in Freetown for allegedly stealing twenty-five (25) of assorted pair crap and a cash of one thousand Leones (NLe1,000) from his Tennant, Mohamed Koroma.
Alusine Kamara, 33, was arrested 22st November, 2023 by Detective Police Constable (DPC) 18653 Campbell R.D and appeared before the court on a count of house breaking contrary to law.
It was alleged that the accused, on Friday 29th September, 2023 at No.48 Mount Aurorel, in Freetown, broke into Mohamed Koroma’s house and stole therein twenty-five (25) assorted pair creaps and a cash of one thousand Leones NLe1,000 worth thousands of Leones belonging to the complainant.
The matter was reported at the Regional Ross Road Police Station, Harbour Division on 2nd November 2023.
Subsequently, the matter was charged to court for preliminary investigation.
The accused was unrepresented.
Magistrate Kekura denied the accused bail and remanded him at the aforesaid correctional center on Pademba Road in Freetown.
The matter was adjourned to 11th December, 2023 for further hearing.
