Mohamed Dumbuya and Haja Adama Dumbuya (Son and Daughter) made their final appearance before Justice Ansumana Ivan Sesay of the High Court no.1 in Freetown on 8 count charges of Manslaughter, conspiracy to commit trafficking, engaging in trafficking in persons and cruelty to children.
Both accused persons were acquitted and Discharged on all charges of Human Trafficking.
Justice Ansumana Ivan Sesay in his summoning up address to the court read and explained the indictment charges against both accused persons.
He said the Prosecution called five witnesses and tendered all exhibits.
He furthermore said that the 1st accused is charged with all 8 counts aforementioned and the 2nd accused is charged on three counts.
However, due to lack of evidence both accused persons were acquitted and discharged.
State Prosecutor was represented by J.S Tucker Esq and defense counsel for both accused persons I.A Kamara Esq.
