As part of the refurbishment, infrastructural growth, and secretariat steadfastness of the Sierra Leone Athletics Association, the executive of the Sierra Leone Athletics Association (SLAA) through its President, Martin Momoh Bangura, has received with pleasure a set of Internet Modem and a desktop computer from the CEO of Labrum, Foday Dumbuya to aid the executive carry-out its secretariat and official duties at the head office of SLAA.
“The internet modem and computer donation were timely for the association and we are grateful to Labrum for their kind consideration” President Martin Momoh Bangura said.
The Internet Modem received was fully activated by Signature Connect Sierra Leone Limited for immediate use together with the computer and other internet accessories.
The CEO of Labrum, Foday Dumbuya supports comes not as a surprise, as this is not the first time he (Foday) has been making donations to SLAA. He has supported the association with a full set of Labrum sportswear to participate in Nigeria, helping Long-Distance runners with school items and fees, dressing the association’s coaches, on the just concluded Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, Foday Dumbuya together with popular Musician and Actor, Idris Elber dresses the Sierra Leone contingent to the games.
After the closure of the Siaka Stevens Stadium for renovations, most of the Association faces Challenges with the administrative equipment to carry out their work, some are present with Office space, with this support the new Executive of the Sierra Leone Athletics Association will be of great help as they prepared for both local and international competitions.
