Alhaji Kallon SLPP candidate of the position of National Deputy Chairman has rekindled hope into the heart of supporters of Sierra Leone People’s Party in Kono ahead of 2023 elections on Saturday 11th December 2021 at the regional party office in Kono District.
During the donation of the electronic items for the effective running of the affairs of the party, Alhaji Kallon whole-heartedly extended his appreciation to the people of Kono for their tremendous strides in scaling up support of the SLPP in the past by-elections.
He went further to urge the SLPP supporters to work hard in ensuring that the party secures the majority of parliamentarians in Kono in the 2023 elections.
‘‘Let that be our focus in order to figure out how Kono would have all the members of parliament in the 2023 election,’’ he said.
He said that he would continue to render his support to the people in making sure Sierra Leone People’s Party secures a standard regional party office.
Alhaji Kallon revealed that the party has now initiated an idea for the implementation of employment for youths, provision of micro credit incentives and establishment of middleman power facilities for both men and women.
Safea Lesly Moiwa, District Chairman of SLPP in Kono acknowledged Alhaji Kallon for his contribution to Kono city. He encouraged delegates and supporters to vote and cheer him during the SLPP National elections in Bo.
Tamba Simeon Johanny, District PRO of Kono applauded the constituency members in Kono for hosting the deputy national aspirant of the party.
Sahr James Jimissa, Regional Secretary East assured Alhaji Kallon that the delegates are with full conviction to vote him as the next National Deputy Chairman of SLPP due to the human relationship and the contributions he has been making to the party in Kono.
Fatu Finda Jalloh, Women’s Leader constituency 028 felt pleased for such donation and previous help from Alhaji Kallon to the people of Kono and the women in general.
‘’We are grateful for this type help; and we will do our own pay back,’’ she concluded.
