The people of Kenema District will in the next month begin to enjoy television broad cast that was established by the Chief Executive Officer of Karima Investment, Mr. Sidi Yahya Fofanah.
The launch of the Television station comprises of other goodies that would be enjoyed by the people of Kenema and the entire provincial areas of Sierra Leone. On the 12th September 2021 at the Blama Road, the Karima Investment was officially opened to the public.
During his statement, the CEO of the Karima investment Mr. Sidie Yayah Fofanah aka DJ SNOW thanked Stakeholders as well as the individual people who appeared in large numbers to grace the official Opening of the Karima investment that also comprise of a gas station, Supermarket, boutique, building material shop etc.
He said this is a sole sponsored venture that is only supported by his family, as according to him he is doing this for the love of Kenema as Kenema is his home town and he is always proud of Kenema.
“All what I’m saying to you my people of Kenema is a big thank you for all your cooperation you have been giving me and I will continue doing my little best to see that Kenema can continue competing with other cities in the country and by next month the Karima Television will be officially open as it is now on a test transmission”, Mr. Fofanah aka DJ SNOW stated.
Addressing the public at the Commissioning of the Karima Investment at Blama Road in Kenema, the Mayor of the Kenema City Council His Lordship Thomas Baio and the Kenema District Council Chairman Mr. Mohamed Amadu O’level Sesay made similar statements and they said the few young people they are admiring in Sierra Leone and Kenema in particular is Sidie Yayah Fofanah aka DJ SNOW for his development strides he has been doing in Kenema.
“DJ Snow has opened a radio station in Kenema, Tongo Field, Koidu City, Kabala and now a Television which is the first Provincial Private Television to be soon commission. He has also built a standard Entertainment Center in Kenema and today the Karima Gas Station, Boutique, Building material shop and a Supermarket are going to be officially opened to the public. There are Kenema people who leave Kenema to build houses and other investment out of Kenema City. But for DJ. Snow anytime he has money he will invest in Kenema City and this is a lesson to us as politicians”, Mayor Thomas BAIO and Chairman O’level Sesay revealed.
Representing Traditional Leaders in Kenema, the Town Chief of Kenema Chief Momoh Ngonbula explained how he played a significant role to see that DJ. Snow have access to the land where these investments are erected.
He said DJ. Snow has always been a humble Young Man whose development proficiency has been creating jobs for young people in the country.
He cited examples to the Radio Stations, the Television, Gas Station and many more.
The chief said on behalf of the Stakeholders in Kenema they are always ready to work with DJ. Snow and let him always call them at any material time.
