The Entertainment Ambassador, Dennis Amara Turay (Kao Denero) has given reasons for endorsing and throwing his fullest support towards President Bio’s re-election in the June 24th 2023 election.
In his message, Dennis Amara Turay pointed out some things and issues for clarification and the diverse roles which the President had played in bridging regional and tribal lines in the country. He described President Bio as “A peaceful President”.
He recalled that when President Bio was in opposition, he was ridiculed and made a public show of his beliefs and policies for a better Sierra Leone.
He added that President Bio was laughed at for the airline he used previously from London to Freetown and even his Residence as he said people speculated that he lived in an apartment that was rented for him by Former President Ernest Bai Koroma. “A time when folks poked on the flight he used to fly from London to Freetown; they latched on even the resident he was living at the time claiming it was rented by the former president”, he said.
He continued that there was an incident wherein President Bio was stoned in BO where he sustained injuries to the head. He added that folks were constantly calling him jobless and unwarranted names for years. With all of these, he said President Bio never reacted rather he was calm and determined to lead the country in the right direction.
He also mentioned the assault that was meted out on the former President by police personnel but never did he instruct youths to take the violent approach.
Ambassador Kao Denero lavished praises on President Bio that despite being provoked repeatedly in the past, he never reacted with violence.
“By now towards the end of his first term, this man should be bragging about having mansions all over the country. If you wondering why Kao Denero an artist is publicly showing his support for a politician, these are some of the reasons”, he concluded.
