The Board and Management of Kamboi Eagles Football Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Christian Elogima Vandi as the new Assistant Secretary General and Acting Technical Director. Originating from Kenema and representing Panguma in the Lower Bambara Chiefdom, Christian, affectionately known as Capay Elo, has been a devoted member of the Kamboi Eagles family for many years.

His journey with the club began as a young ball boy, fueled by a passion for football and a dream of donning the Eagles’ jersey. In 2006, he officially joined Kamboi Eagles FC as a player, where his dedication and leadership shone over twelve remarkable years. His commitment earned him the role of Team Captain, leading the squad to victory in the LEOCEEM FA Cup Finals in 2014 and proudly representing Sierra Leone in the CAF Inter-Club Competition in Algeria in 2015.

While still an active player, Capay Elo transitioned into coaching, taking on the role of Head Coach of Kahunla Rangers in 2013. Under his guidance, the team secured its first competitive trophy by winning the District FA Cup, defeating Reservation Rovers 2–0 in the finals.

Beyond the pitch, Christian has demonstrated exceptional administrative and leadership skills. He served as Principal of the Door International Academy for four years, receiving the Best Principal Award for three consecutive years (2018–2020). Within Kamboi Eagles FC, he has held key positions, including Public Relations Officer, Secretary General, and most recently, Head of Media and Marketing. His consistency, integrity, and dedication have earned him the respect of both management and supporters.

Currently, Mr. Vandi combines his extensive experience as a player, coach, and administrator in his role as the Assistant Secretary General and Acting Technical Director of Kamboi Eagles FC. In addition to his football responsibilities, he works as a Senior Support Officer (Inspector) at the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) in the East region. His appointment reflects the confidence the club’s management has in him and reaffirms his long-standing commitment to the Kamboi Eagles legacy.
