Ibrahim Bangura Alias No 9 on Tuesday 1st November 2022, has been sentenced to twenty-Two (22) years of six Month imprisonment by Justice Komba Kamanda at the High Court No2 in Freetown on a four-count charge to wit Conspiracy.
According to the particular offence, the convict Ibrahim Bangura Alias No.9 on 1st April 2017, at Mamammah Village in the Northern Province of Sierra Leone conspired together with other persons unknown to commit a felony to wit Robbery with Aggravation. Count two Robbery with Aggravation Contrary to section 23 \1\ an of the Larceny ACT 1916 as Repealed and Replaced by section 2 of the imperial statutes of Criminal law adoption Amendment ACT of 1971 ACT No.16 of 1971.
According to the particular offence of the convict Ibrahim Bangura on 26 April 2017 at Mamamah Village in the Northern Province of Sierra Leone armed with a Machete and Rifle with Serial No. UB60A6821 robbed Osman Bangura of one C9 Techno mobile phone valued at one million Five Hundred Thousand Leones, One Techno touch Mobile Phone valued at Eight Hundred Thousand Leones, One Nokia mobile phone valued at one million two Hundred Thousand Leones, one computer valued Three million Eight Hundred Thousand Leones, One Toshiba computer valued Three million Five Hundred thousand Leones and fiscal cash of Seventeen million Four Hundred and Thirteen Thousand Leones, all the total monies value of thirty-four million, Nine Hundred and Thirty-Three Thousand Leone property of Osman Bangura.
Count three, the convict was charged wit Count two Robbery with Aggravation Contrary to section 23 \1\ an of the Larceny ACT 1916 as Repealed and Replaced by section 2 of the imperial statutes of Criminal law adoption Amendment ACT of 1971 ACT No.16 of 1971, the particular offence the convict Ibrahim Bangura alias No.9 on 26 April 2017 at Mamamah Village in the Northern Province of Sierra Leone with Machetes and Rifle with serial No. UB60A6821 robbed Abu Bakarr Fofanah of one LG Mobile phone valued at one million and one Android mobile phone valued at Six Hundred Thousand Leone the total value of One Million Six Hundred Thousand Leones Property of Abu Backarr Forfanah.
Count Four possession of Small Arms without License contrary to section 11\1\ of the arms and ammunition Act 2012, ACT No9 of 2012, according to the particular offences the convict Ibrahim Bangura alias No.9 on 26th April 2017 at Mamamah Village in the Northern Province of Sierra Leone found possession of small arms to wit one Rifle with serial No. UB60A6821 with magazine immunization without License.
