The high Court Judge presiding over High Court matters in Koindu Town, Kailahun District has suspended the special High Court session indefinitely due to insecurity.

Justice Francis Banks Kamara  suspended  the Special High Court session when the officer commanding  Family  support  Unit (FSU) line Manager  and the Crime Officer were remanded after a warrant  of arrest  was issued  for them   failing to show up in court  for a sexual penetration  matter, nothing  that, after  signing the warrant of arrest, the three officers later  showed  up  in  Court  but  were subsequently  arrested and  detained  at the Kailahun male correctional centre and  are still in remand despite several efforts by the  Local Unit Commander  (LUC) of Kailahun Police  Divisional Head Quarters Superintendent  Sao Vandy to get them released proved futile.

Meanwhile, Justice   Francis Banks Kamara however claimed that the Local Unit Commander of Kailahun Police Division Superintendent Sao Vandy on Thursday 14th October, 2021, led a team of Police Officers who stormed the court yard threatening to kill him.

When asked to know his take on the said allegation, the Local Unit Commander of Kailahun District Police Division Superintendent Sao Vandy foremost denied knowledge of such allegations.

However, A-Z correspondent  has confirmed  that Justice  Francis  Banks Kamara  was later accompanied  by both Military and Correctional  centre officers to Kenema City and  it is not  yet clear when  the special high Court  session will resume  as it was  meant  to speedily  dispense  Justice  for inmates  and  persons in conflict  with the law.
