Jericho Road Ministry has embarked on developmental project in the Gbogboafeh section Nimikoro Chiefdom, Kono District. The developments projects include: establishment of a standard health centre; two (2) water wells in Kumao, two (2) water wells for Titambaya and Mofindor communities respectively.
According to the founder and the director of the aforementioned organization, Madam Feebian Fengai Abdulai it is due to their medical outreach activities they were able to identify the various communities felt needs. These felt needs include: lack of pure water facility, no proper health care among other things.
Md. Feebian said their paramount motive is to have primary health care service for the people to provide medication for all communities in their operational areas in the district. She said people were dying including children and women out of minor sicknesses which should not have killed them.
She noted that, lack of pure drinking water is one of the key factors responsible for the many sicknesses in the aforesaid section. He noted that other projects are on the pipe line.
