The Government and people of Israel, through the Sierra Leone High Commission in Ghana, for the second time, has supported affected and hospitalized victims of a recent gas explosion in Freetown, with medical supplies totaling over Forty Thousand United States Dollars.
These items include examination gloves, bandages, 120 cartoons of Ibuprofen tablets, candellers, cotton wool, tramadol injection, among others.
Israel and Sierra Leone continue to enjoy great bilateral ties and both countries through their respective Heads of Missions in Accra have committed to further strengthening of ties.
Medical supplies worth about Forty Six Thousand Dollars were earlier sent in the aftermath of the gas explosion fire disaster.
High Commissioner Francess Virginia Anderson appreciated the gesture and thanked the Government and People of Israel for their support.
Representing the Ambassador of Israel in Ghana that is accredited to Sierra Leone, was the Head of Consul and Administration, Ortal Popoviz Alkelai.
