In the ongoing Aiding and Abetting matter against Honourable Emmanuel Saidu Conteh, Nabieu Unisa Raymond Bangura and Agnes Kutu Reffell, the matter was mentioned today in court.
For the second time, the first and second accused persons were absent but the surety of the first accused person was arrested by Sergeant 9155 Dwight Macarthy.
The accused persons are before the court on twenty-six count charges ranging from Aiding and Abetting to conceal pistol Magazines, contrary to section 29 (3) of the Arms and Ammunition Act 2012, Act No.9 of 2012.
According to the particulars of offence on a date between May and 2nd July 2021 in Freetown conspired with other persons unknown to commit a felony to with transfer of Arms and ammunition in to Sierra Leone without license.
The international surety James Matthew Fortune who gives fake name and address to the court as Alhaji Suma is admitted to bail in physical cash of five hundred thousand new Leones.
The surety should have titles deeds worth three hundred and fifty thousand new Leones to be paid to the court treasury.
To be approved by the presiding Magistrate, matter to be adjourned to the 19th February 2023 for further hearing.
