FC Kallon Football Club will be in today’s battle with arch-rivals East End Lions Football Club at Angola Town field at 4:15 pm.
FC Kallon is going into this encounter after winning three matches in a role and has been in good form, while East End Lions Football Club has been in good form as well winning two matches in their last few games.
Tunde Scott the General Manager of FC Kallon said the team is in high spirits to welcome East End Lions Football Club, noting that the players are determined and have been in a training session preparing for this crunch tie and confident that his boys will get all three points.
He affirmed that there are no injury concerns as the players are injured-free and ready to face the Killers as they brace up for their challenge of the top spot in the Sierra Leone Premier League, a win against East End Lions will see FC Kallon closed the gap on Mighty Blackpool who is in the second spot of the Premier League, while a win for East End Lions will see them move three points clear above FC Kallon Football Club.
The Public Relations of East End Lions Football Club, Alhassan Idris Bangura said the players are in high spirits to face an opponent; a side they have high records against them, adding that the players know what it takes when the two sides meet such an opponent.
He added that there is lots of hype from both fans and the club’s owners, but optimistic that the boys will have a win against East End Lions on their soil.
FC Kallon has only lost one time and that is against BO Rangers Football Club as they last lost to them (2-1) at the Angola town field.
