In a heartwarming gesture, Inspector General of Police, Mr. William Fayia Sellu, took the lead in a substantial donation of medical supplies to the Bo Police Hospital on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. This generous contribution, amounting to 80% of the IGP’s intended assistance, was delivered by Deputy Director and Police Medical Superintendent, Dr. John Mumuneh Konteh.
The assortment of supplies, which ranged from Paracetamol tablets to Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS), was handed over to the hospital with the clear aim of improving medical care for both police personnel and the surrounding communities in Bo City. Among the items were crucial medications like Diclofenac gel and spray, Benzathine tablets, and Artesunate, as well as essential medical equipment, including Giving Sets and Butterfly needles.
During the handover ceremony, Dr. Konteh emphasized the necessity of using the donated drugs for their intended purposes.
