The chairman Pastor Matthew Brima informed the stakeholders that Honourable Kabba knows that community transformation is a remarkable development in any community that is why he uses his birthday to address them about the development that is coming.
During his speech Honourable Ibrahim Kabba alias Small Borbor informed the community stockholders that since 2008 to 2012 when they thought it fit that he can represent them at council to be a Councilor for the said community.
He played his role when he was elected by building taps, Toliets and gave the less privileged education, going further he also appreciated them again to vote him in to represent them in parliament.
He told them that ten Honourable including five from the Sierra Leone people’s Party SLPP and five from the All People’s Congress APC he was chosen to represent the western rural area.
Honourable Kabba was selected among the ten to be part of the local government as he is not going to be there sitting down and seeing things go wrong in the community because he was selected there for development.
He said most of the wet lands the present SLPP councilor Mohamed Mansaray Alias “DGuy” sold the lands to them he said his aim is to retrieve all wet lands and stop sand mining in the community.
The Honourable said the world Bank has donated money to build a health centre in Obafunkia community that is going to admit 1000 people and quarters for Nurses and CHO`s in charge.
He concluded that he will facilitate projects to ensure that most of the youths in the community learn skills and transform the community.
