The Sierra Leone Judiciary has on the 29th November 2021 commenced its November 2021 Criminal Session at the Freetown High Court of Sierra Leone presided by Honorable Justice Ivan Sesay.
Amongst the sixty nine offences that were judged by different judges in the High Court of Sierra Leone Criminal Jurisdiction, a long list of these offences were conspiracy to defraud, larceny in a dwelling house, causing grievous bodily harm with intent, murder, burglary, wounding with intent, conspiracy, robbery with aggravation, conspiracy to murder, conspiracy, obtaining money by false pretenses, forgery with intent to defraud, forgery, uttering forge document, shop breaking and larceny, fraudulent conversion, applying for registration of an uncontracted customary marriage, knowingly make a false entry in the registry, larceny from the person, conspiracy to murder, wounding with intent and malicious damage, threatening to commit a felony, burglary and larceny, conspiracy to commit burglary and larceny, sexual penetration, conspiracy to commit house breaking and larceny, house breaking and larceny, larceny and wounding with intent, conspiracy to commit larceny, manslaughter, conspiracy and murder, physical abuse, wounding with intent and disorderly conduct, and conspiracy to commit robbery with aggravation.
Seven out of sixty nine murder offences were committed. Out of the same sixty nine, seven (7) offences of wounding with intent were as well committed followed by six (6) offences of fraudulent conversion were carried out, six (6) larceny grievous bodily harm with intent, four (4) conspiracy offences and four (4) offences of obtaining money by false pretenses were equally committed.
Four (4) out of sixty nine offences of conspiracy were committed and three (3) conspiracy, robbery with aggravation were committed and three (3) offences of robbery with aggravation were implemented by different persons of offence.
One of each of the other offences such as forgery with intent to defraud, forgery, uttering forge document, shop breaking and larceny, applying for registration of an uncontracted customary marriage, knowingly make a false entry in the register, larceny from the person, burglary, and conspiracy were levelly executed by different persons of offence in the High Court of Sierra Leone.
