While a malicious damage case was going on at the Ross Road Magistrate Court in Freetown a man was arrested by a Police Officer Sergeant 8534 Gibrilla Sesay who was told by lawyer M. P George that the herbalist came with a fetish harmful object herein referred ‘witch gun.’ It was said in open Court by the lawyer before the Magistrate.
Magistrate Daboh called the suspect and interrogated him but denied the allegation. The Magistrate confirmed his by saying that he smelled the released of the ‘witch gun’ and he must be disarm.
Magistrate Hadiru Daboh ordered Sergeant 8534 Gibrilla Sesay to disarm him. After the Police officer had taken the suspect behind the Court to disarm him, he told the Magistrate that the witch gun was inside the stomach of the herbalist which he took and disposed of it; since it has become powerless as he had already wasted it outside the court before entering. The herbalist was detained for several hours and later released.
