The Hawamack Star Foundation, one of Sierra Leone’s leading humanitarian organizations, continues to make a remarkable impact on national development by advocating for the rights and needs of children, combating drug abuse, promoting rehabilitation services, and improving the well-being of the underprivileged.

Under the leadership of its founder and CEO, Mr. Cyrill Umeh, the foundation has recently expanded its humanitarian outreach by visiting and providing aid to all districts across the country. Known as a generous patriot, Mr. Umeh emphasized that the foundation is committed to supporting the poor and needy, particularly in rural communities, in light of the current economic challenges facing Sierra Leone.

“We are in line with the agenda of change,” Umeh stated. “Our goal is to ensure that no Sierra Leonean is left behind when it comes to receiving help and being part of development.”

The foundation’s primary mission is to raise public awareness about the extreme poverty affecting rural communities and to take practical steps to reduce its impact. Mr. Umeh explained during an interview that the foundation was established to serve humanity especially those enduring unbearable living conditions.

“Our work is to serve and uplift those facing hardship. You inspire us every day with your courage and determination,” he said.

Over the past years and continuing to the present, the Hawamack Star Foundation has made significant progress in transforming lives. It has provided medical assistance to over 212 critically ill individuals across various districts, distributed bags of rice to rural communities to ensure food security for farmers, and awarded scholarships to support the education of less privileged children.

The foundation’s generosity and unwavering commitment to humanitarian service have earned admiration and respect nationwide.

Aisha Sogore, a board member of the foundation, highlighted that it is their collective responsibility to assist all Sierra Leoneans, irrespective of region or background.

“We are committed to blessing lives across all districts and regions without discrimination or segregation,” she affirmed.

The Hawamack Star Foundation remains a beacon of hope for many, championing development through compassion, equity, and relentless service.
