Guinea Champions Horoya AC has on 22nd May 2022 announced through their website the signing of East End Lions and Sierra Leone Goalkeeper Mohamed Kamara fondly called (Fabianski)

According to sources, the deal is a two-year deal with Guinea’s top-flight team, the twenty-time Guinea Champions confirmed that ” Mohamed Kamara, the goalkeeper has signed up for Horoya Athletic Club for two years.”

 This has propelled him to the forefront of the continental scene after his remarkable performance against Algeria as he won the man of the match award in the first match at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Mohamed Kamara is the number goalkeeper for East End Lions Football Club and he has helped the club win the 2018/2019 Sierra Leone Premier League unbeaten, four points ahead of FC Kallon.

He has been named in the Sierra Leone squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Nigeria on 9th June 2022, and Guinea Bissau in Conakry Guinea at the General Lansana Conte Stadium on 13th June 2022.

Mohamed Kamara was the number one goalkeeper for Sierra Leone in the last Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

He saved Franck Kessie’s penalty a vital spot-kick against the Ivory Coast that saw Leone Stars rally to a(2-2)  draw at the Japoma Stadium.

He started getting light when he was playing for FC Johansen Football Club in 2017-to and 2018 and in 2019 he joined East End Lions Football Club. He started getting his national call up in 2018.
