In a highly anticipated annual event, the Government of Sierra Leone, through the Ministry of Finance, is set to present its Fiscal Year 2025 (FY2025) budget, laying out the nation’s economic roadmap for the upcoming year.
Scheduled for Friday, 15th November 2024, at 10:00 a.m., the Minister of Finance, Honorable Sheku Ahmed Fantamadi Bangura, will deliver the official Statement of Economic and Financial Policies in the esteemed Chamber of the Sierra Leone Parliament.
This pivotal occasion marks a significant moment for the country as it aims to address key economic and social challenges while outlining new fiscal policies and public expenditure priorities. The budget announcement is expected to reveal initiatives that will support Sierra Leone’s growth objectives, foster economic resilience, and promote sustainable development.

This year, the Ministry of Finance has encouraged attendees to be seated by 9:30 a.m. to ensure a prompt start and smooth proceedings for what is expected to be an eventful session.
