As part of his continued support to complement the effort of government in the free quality Education in the country,  the Director of People’s Development Organization (PDO), Mr. Gassimu Mallah, has on the 12th July, donated a PA system to the Milton Comprehensive Secondary School in Bo,  Southern, Sierra Leone.

Giving the donation, Gassimu Mallah said the move was meant to complement President Julius Maada Bio’s free quality education policy.

Mr. Mallah noted that since the introduction of the free quality education three years ago, there has been an increase in the enrollment of pupils in schools.

“On behalf of my family,  I  present 1 PA system,  two microphones and one packet battery to the Milton Comprehensive Senior Secondary School,’’ he said.

Receiving the PA system on behalf of his school, Mathew Lowa James, Principal of Milton Comprehensive Senior Secondary School, recalled that few days ago Mr. Mallah called him and informed him that he had a gift for his school.

Mr. James said that the PA system was needed urgently as they usually pay for PA system for their Oral English exams, noting that they will use the PA system for assembly purposes and meetings.

“This is a good gesture; Mr. Mallah is not an old boy of this school. He is not a member of the school board. He does not stay within the school environment. But he decided to come and help the School,” Mr. Mathew James earmarked.

Mr. James promised to make good use of the donated materials.

A pupil, Mathew Sumaila of SSS 2, on behalf of his colleagues, thanked Gassimu Mallah for the donation.
