Gang killing at Mountain Cut: 3 family members to face High Court

Kashope Ibrahim, Gentride Ibrahim and Abubakarr Ibrahim relatives residing at 3rd Street off Mountain Cut in Freetown, has on the 31st August, 2021 made there last appearances before Magistrate Isata Sellu Tucker of Court No. 3 on Pademba Road Freetown, for allegedly killing a 52 year old business man, George Alhassan Jalloh.

The three accused persons made 31 appearances and the Prosecution team led by ASP Sorie Conteh, while six (6) witnesses including the Police Investigator testified. In her ruling, Magistrate Isata Sellu Tucker said, after considering the matter through Preliminary Investigation she is convinced that all three accused persons should be committed to the High Court for trial and without bail.

 The accused are charged on two counts of conspiracy to commit murder and murder contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone. According to the particulars of offence on count 1, the accused persons, Kashope Ibrahim, Gentride Ibrahim and Abubakarr Ibrahim on Monday 1st March 2021, at No. 3 Third Street, off Mountain Cut, Freetown, conspired together with other person’s unknown to murder George Alhassan Jalloh. Count 2 state that all accused on Monday 1st March 2021, at No. 3 Third Street, off Mountain Cut the western Area in Freetown, murdered George Alhassan Jalloh.

The accused persons were represented by Lawyer Madieu Sesay.
