Following a Police investigation into the death of 16-year-old Abu Bakarr Barrie of Deep-Eye Water, Waterloo, which occurred on Saturday the 25th of March 2023, a cross-section of leaders and members of the Fullah Committee from Deep-Eye Water and Devil communities have on the 27th of March 2023 paid a courtesy visit to the Local Unit Commander of Waterloo Division, CSP Mr Ibrahim M. Sama at the Waterloo Divisional Headquarters, Post Office, Waterloo.
Chief Mohamed Alpha Bah of Deep-Eye Water, Waterloo, who led the visiting team, heaped praises on LUC Ibrahim M. Sama, for his hard work and steadfastness in ensuring that Waterloo and its environs continue to enjoy uninterrupted peace. Chief Mohamed Alpha Bah pleaded with LUC Ibrahim M. Sama to thoroughly investigate the death of their kinsman and to bring the perpetrators to justice as it will deter the commission of such heinous acts in the future.
Dressed in traditional Islamic regalia in observance of the holy month of Ramadan, LUC Ibrahim M. Sama welcomed his guests and pledged to work with all peace-loving people of Waterloo to ensure that Waterloo regains its past glory of being a law-abiding community free from criminal activities. “I have a penchant for success, and as such, I will not rest until the narrative of Waterloo is changed to a positive one,” he concluded.
Recitation of duas’ and exchange of telephone directory climaxed the brief bit important meeting.
