Once again there is an objective indication of progress in the roll out of free quality education as a flagship project of the government of president Bio. A study commissioned by Global Partnership for Education and UNICEF working in collaboration with the Ministry of Education sought to interrogate the level of progress or regression that has since 2014 occurred in the lower rung of learning specifically grade one. The result of the study among other things has established that learning materials are in reading and mathematics is available in almost all schools sampled.
