39yrs-old Alimamy Mansaray made another appearance before Magistrate Hadiru K Daboh of Ross Road Court No.3 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Tuesday 15th November 2022 at Kissy police Barracks football field the western area in Freetown stole one motor starter valued four thousand Leones(4,000) from a vehicle with registration number ASP 709 property of Paul Penin KoJo Cummings.
The charge was read and explained to the accused person on his first appearance and pleaded guilty.
The accused person was unrepresented and pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy.
However, Magistrate Daboh due to the plea mitigation by the accused person as a first time offender he sent the accused person to eighteen months imprisonment to the male correctional center in Freetown, while Assistant Superintendent of police Jeneba Bangura prosecuted the Matter.
