The accused Mohamed Tarawally appeared before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba Road Court No.1 in Freetown on one count charge of offence of Office Breaking and Larceny.
According to the particulars of offence, Mohamed Alami Tarawally on Sunday 26th December 2021 at Ali Ahmad Hudroge Enterprise, Kissy Dockyard, allegedly stole eighty thousand United State Dollars equivalent to Nine hundred and Sixty Million Leones and also stole the sum of eighty Million Leones, all to the total sum of One Billion, and Forty Million Leones.
However, Magistrate Sahr Kekura did not grant bail to the accused Mohamed Alamin Tarawally bail based on the serious nature of the offence.
ASP Christiana Davies Cole is prosecuting the matter.
