For Obtaining 40 cartoons of chicken fraudulently: Accused Remanded

 Business man Abdulai Kamara has on the 4 October 2021, made his first appearance before Magistrate Hadiru K. Daboh of Ross Road Court No. 3 the western area in Freetown one count of obtaining goods by false pretenses contrary to Section 32 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the particulars of offence the accused Abdul Kamara on the 7th June 2021, at one of the warehouse of the complainant (P. Cee and Sons), at No. 2 Bai Bureh Road, Freetown, obtained from the complainant herein P.Cee and Sons two hundred and forty (240) cartoons of chicken value forty seven million six hundred and seventy thousand Leones (Le47, 670,000), falsely pretending that he will pay within a week knowing same to be false.

The charge was read to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty, and was not represented, while the complainant was represented by D. B Barrie Esq.

 Magistrate Hadiru K Daboh sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown.

Sergeant Gibrilla Sesay prosecuting the Matter, and has been  adjourned to the 8th September 2021.
