29yrs old Dominic Monrovia made his first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on one count charge to wit Fraudulent Conversion Contrary to section 20 (1) (iv) (a) of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence sometime in November 2021 at Signal Hill the western area in Freetown Fraudulently converted to your own use or benefits certain property that is to say the sum of two hundred million Leones (200,000,000) entrusted to him by Joseph Sahr Bangura for the purpose of delivering.
The charges were read and explained to the accused person and no plea taken, while the accused person was legally unrepresented. Inspector Kadie M. Taylor is Prosecuting the matter.
Magistrate Kekura refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown, and adjourned the matter to 28th March 2022 for further hearing.
