18yrs Old Alhassan Kargbo a caterer made his first appearance before Magistrate Peter Gogra of Pademba road court No.6 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Conspiracy contrary to law and Larceny dwelling house contrary to Section 13 (1) of the Larceny Act 1916
According to the particulars of offence on Sunday 24th July 2022 at Kortu drive Marjay town the western area in Freetown conspired together and with other persons unknown to commit a felony to wit Larceny dwelling house on count two at the same place and date the accused person entered into the dwelling house of Aminata Suma and stole therein Seventeen million old Leones (17,000,000) property of Sallay Kamara.
The charges were read and explained to the accused person and he pleaded not guilty.
However, the prosecution told the Bench that her witness is absent and she seeks for a short adjournment date.
Magistrate Gogra refused bail and sent the accused person to the male correctional center in Freetown. The matter was adjourned to the 5th August 2022 for further hearing.
Inspector Musu Edna Kpulun is prosecuting the matter.
